Open Search Symposium 2022

Aurora González-Vidal, Researcher at the University of Murcia presents NGI Search on October 11, from 17h15 to 17h35 at the 4th Open Search Symposium. The conference takes place in Zurich CERN facility, with a possibility of online participation.
The OSSYM 2022, 10-12 October, is bringing together the Open Internet Search community in Europe, involving science, computing centres, libraries, politics, legal, and ethics experts. The Open Search Symposium series provides a forum to discuss and advance the ideas and concepts of Open Internet search in Europe.

First Advisory Board Meeting

A first exchange session with three prominent members of the NGI Search Advisory Board and the project partners took place via the open source web conferencing system Jitsi. The advisors contributed their academic, SDO and industrial expertise. From then on, the collaborative work began on both continents, on both sides of the Atlantic.

Pierre-Yves Gibello, CEO of OW2 referred to NGI Search cascade funding project while presenting European open source innovation incentives where the OW2 open source association is involved.
EUCLIDIA fosters innovation in the European cloud space, specifically for the supply and operation of cloud infrastructures. The association is dedicated to promote the opportunity in creating a strong ecosystem and SME-friendly environment in the European cloud sector. The European Cloud Industrial Alliance is made up of SMEs and associations active in the open cloud industry and majority owned by European-based shareholders

FIWARE Global Summit 2022

David Seoane and Mayte Carracedo from FundingBox (NGI4ALL.E partners) presented NGI Search cascade funding project among the next NGI funding opportunities during the 8th FIWARE Global Summit. They explained how to apply, and how to make the most of the NGI online community during the Business & Funding Opportunities session, on 15 September 2022, 3:00pm–6:00pm.
NGI Search Kick-Off Meeting
